Due to attempts made to compromise our websites we had to increase security and build useful tools to stop people trying to exploit the site and ended with a great API pluggin that is now available to instantly check hacking attempts and suspicious behavior triggered by SQL, PHP and other coding errors caused by user submitted input and locks out IP addresses in real time. You can choose the level of sensitivity with 2 strokes and out or use a blanket blocking for all risky IP addresses. The system uses an XML API to check our database and also updates it instantly with any attempts to compromise your web site and then blocks access across all the web sites you control that use ASP, PHP or ASP.NET. Access can be blocked for intervals such as 24Hours or Completely deny a given IP access to your sites.

We also monitor the database and if we find persistent IPs abusing the system they are locked completely and we also forward attempts with date, time and URL used to the abuse departments of the host ISP. If it looks like a range of IP addresses are being used we would then lock down the whole range.

This system is aimed at small to medium enterprise who uses shopping cart/webshop software or have developed their own PHP scripts that may be vulnerable to SQL injection that in turn could compromise you and your customers. We aim to provide a network of sites that have instant lock down and provide an extra layer of security and also build a community of tech knowledge with advice and code snippets to make your sites difficult to crack.

Off course we cant stop everyone but the system will stop would be hackers and novices, we use this product on a daily basis and it has been invaluable and because of the number of Web sites we now have it has cut suspected hacking and other malicious behavior to a minimum. Its should be noted that the API runs from inside your scripts and not reliant on the server having specially installed software, you simply place the API code on every page that you want to protect and make it a part of every single project to provide comprehensive lock down when required.
